Terms of Use

    These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the WanderWallet mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service") provided by Designed For Results Pty Ltd (ABN 99 682 428 904) trading as WanderWallet ("we", "us", "our").

    By creating an account, downloading the application, or otherwise accessing the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

    1. Eligibility

    You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. We reserve the right to request proof of age at any time.

    2. Account Registration

    To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. When creating an account you agree to:

    • provide accurate, current, and complete information;
    • maintain and promptly update your account information;
    • keep your password confidential and not share it with any third party; and
    • notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

    You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with these obligations.

    3. Subscription Plans & Billing

    WanderWallet offers a Free plan and a Pro plan.

    • Free plan: Available at no charge, with access to core features as described on our website. We reserve the right to modify the features included in the Free plan at any time.
    • Pro plan: Available on a monthly basis (AUD $14.99/month) or annual basis (AUD $149.90/year). Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
    • Free trial: Where a free trial period is offered, your account will automatically revert to the Free plan at the end of the trial period — you will not be charged or placed on a paid plan without your explicit action to upgrade. No credit card is required to commence a free trial.

    All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time, with notice provided to existing subscribers at least 30 days in advance.

    4. Cancellation & Refunds

    You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will retain access to Pro features until that date.

    We do not provide refunds for partial subscription periods except where required by the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). If you believe you are entitled to a remedy under the ACL, please contact us.

    5. Acceptable Use

    You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

    • use the Service in any manner that violates any applicable Australian or international law or regulation;
    • use the Service for any fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading purpose;
    • upload, transmit, or distribute any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable;
    • attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its related systems or networks;
    • use any automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access or collect data from the Service without our prior written consent;
    • reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service; or
    • use the Service to send unsolicited commercial communications (spam).

    We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have breached this clause.

    6. User-Generated Content

    You retain ownership of any content you submit, post, or display through the Service (e.g., journal entries, photos, trip notes) ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, store, and display your User Content solely to provide and improve the Service.

    You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to submit your User Content, and that it does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights or violate any applicable law.

    7. Intellectual Property

    The Service, including all software, text, graphics, logos, and trademarks, is owned by or licensed to Designed For Results Pty Ltd and is protected by Australian and international intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right, title, or interest in the Service beyond the limited licence to use it in accordance with these Terms.

    8. Disclaimer of Warranties

    The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

    We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. The financial tracking features of the Service are provided as a convenience tool only and should not be relied upon as professional financial or accounting advice.

    9. Limitation of Liability

    To the maximum extent permitted by law (including the Australian Consumer Law), we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.

    Our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the total amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or AUD $100 if you have not made any payments.

    10. Australian Consumer Law

    Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any guarantee, right, or remedy conferred on you by the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) or any other applicable legislation that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified.

    Where we are permitted to limit our liability, our liability to you for failure to comply with a consumer guarantee is limited (at our election) to: (a) in the case of services — the resupply of the services or payment of the cost of having the services resupplied; and (b) in the case of goods — replacement, repair, or refund.

    11. Privacy

    Our collection and use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

    12. Termination

    We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

    13. Changes to These Terms

    We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date, or by sending you an email notification. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

    14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

    These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Queensland, Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland for the resolution of any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.

    Before commencing any legal proceedings, you agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute with us informally by contacting us via the Contact Us form. We will endeavour to resolve disputes within 30 days.
